Illustration Friday - Shiny
This week's prompt "Shiny" made me think of "The Great Gatsby"! The lavish parties, the wealthy, and the green light that shines across the bay...it all fits. Plus it's been on my mind after rereading the book this week. Such a good read! I can't wait for the new movie to come out this year!

Like a Bird on a Wire
I got the best commission last week! A father from California emailed me about being a part of an art project centered on his baby girl Adora. Last year he start commissioning artists from all over the world to create unique work focusing on his little girl. He started a blog and posts a different image every day of a different artist's work. The blog is here: http://growabrain.tumblr.com/archive I'm on July 14th.
He had a list of ideas, but gave me the creative freedom to do what I wanted. Could you ask for a better client? I choose the theme "Adora like a bird on a wire" from the list of ideas. I think that project is such a cute idea and what a way to promote the arts!
